Marty

This is just a random little painting done on a scrap piece of paper. I just started drawing and this is what came out. Used some acrylics to add some color.

This is great Guy. I have a couple of questions... as always. When you do a sketch like this and then paint it, are your acrylics so washed out that you can still see the pencil lines underneath or do you have to totally redraw them again when you're done. I recently did a painting in a similar way of a dragon as an exercise but I lost all of my initial sketch lines of the interior skin details, so I had to wing it and ended up not as happy as I was with the sketch.

I know you've said that you waterdown your acrylics to get the washes in the background, but is that the same for the figure colors? and am I correct in assuming that you go over it again with a black colored pencil?

Man, I'm needy.
